Software built around how service businesses actually run.

We build Novare Pest for pest-control operators. For other service businesses, we build custom software the same way: around your workflow, your data, and the numbers you run the business on.

Our flagship product

Novare Pest

Analytics and software for pest-control and field-service businesses.

Novare Pest brings revenue, customers, technicians, routes, and receivables into one current view, so every decision rests on what is actually happening in the business. It reads from FieldRoutes and covers every location in one place.

  • Operating dashboards across revenue, retention, sales, technicians, routes, and AR
  • Customer 360, List Build and Geo Intelligence views
  • Reads from FieldRoutes; Novare Pest does not change your FieldRoutes data

We are also building modern alternatives to legacy services tech, now in Beta.

FieldRoutes is a trademark of its owner. Novare Partners and Novare Pest are not affiliated with or endorsed by it.

Custom software

Tools that fit the business you already run.

For owner-led service businesses that have outgrown spreadsheets, group texts, and whiteboards, but don’t need a large software suite they will use a fraction of. Often the right answer is a thin custom layer on the tools you already keep.

  • Your process is a real advantage, and off-the-shelf tools don’t fit it: custom scopes, multi-site accounts, crew-based scheduling, unusual pricing rules.
  • Your data is spread across several tools, and no one fully trusts the numbers.
  • Simple questions, such as which accounts lost money last quarter, take hours to answer.
  • The office re-keys the same data into more than one system.

What we build

From the field to the front office.

01

Field apps for crews

The day’s work, job notes and history, checklists, photos, and sign-off, with notes flowing back to the office.

02

Customer portals and booking

Request service, approve quotes, pay invoices, and see visit history. Rebuilds of customer-facing apps that no longer fit.

03

Quoting and lead flow

Quote and proposal builders that price from your own rules. Lead pipelines wired to your website, phone, and forms, with follow-up that doesn’t depend on memory.

04

Custom AI analysts

An AI analyst built around your business. Ask a question in plain English and get an answer from your own data, with the source shown.

05

AI agents for office work

Drafted lead follow-ups, scheduling and reminder messages, invoice follow-up, and summaries of calls and forms, with a person approving what goes out.

06

Integrations

Connect the accounting, payments, payroll, and scheduling tools you already keep, so data is entered once.

Tools we build

Turn the questions you ask every month into live tools.

We price each big decision before the money moves: base, upside, and downside cases, breakeven month, and cash at risk. After launch, we read the results back honestly, with growth and seasonality stripped out. When a question keeps coming back, we build it into a live tool on your own data. These are the tools we build for operators.

01

Branch and territory go/no-go model

“Should we open this branch or enter this territory, and what if it ramps slower than we hope?”

Base, upside, and downside cases month by month, with breakeven month, maximum cash at risk, and whether it pays back at steady state or only in season. Compared to actuals once live.

02

Weekly branch P&L and owner email

“How did each branch, crew, and service line do this week, and why?”

Splits each branch’s variance into volume, price, labor productivity, labor cost, and drive time, reconciled before it goes out, with a short owner email that sticks to the facts.

03

Cost-to-serve analyzer

“Which customers, routes, and service lines make money once drive time, labor, materials, and callbacks are counted?”

Ranks contribution margin and revenue per tech-hour, and separates costs that would go away from costs that would stay.

04

Route density and fleet utilization model

“Are our trucks and techs as busy as they look?”

Stops per route, drive time between jobs, and how full each day really is, with consolidation scenarios and a downside case if only part of the plan sticks.

05

Truck and equipment ROI planner

“Buy, lease, or wait, and which location needs it first?”

Tests each purchase against capacity triggers, seasonal demand, labor rates, and a payback limit, comparing buy, lease, extend, and do nothing.

06

Pilot and price-change read-back

“Did that price increase or new program actually work?”

Compares the pilot against a control group or a clean before-and-after, with growth and seasonality stripped out, net of the cost of running it.

07

Subcontractor and vendor rate checker

“Is this rate fair, and what should we push back on?”

Builds an in-house cost-up, breaks the quote into the same parts, and models minimums, start dates, and volume tiers side by side.

08

New territory ramp tracker

“Is demand in the new territory showing up as planned?”

Tracks customer and job volume against the forecast, so the owner knows early whether to press on or adjust.

How our tools work

  • Live data. Connected to the field-service, accounting, and payroll systems you already use, refreshed on a schedule.
  • Self-checking. Each refresh is reconciled to the books and checked against expected ranges. If something looks off, the tool flags it instead of publishing it.
  • Shows its work. Formulas, inputs, a documented data source, and a short user guide, so anyone can audit or rebuild it.
  • Built for adoption. A named owner, a training session, and a trial period before the team relies on it.

How an engagement works

Build the most valuable piece first.

Scope is agreed in writing before any build begins. Timelines are typical, not guaranteed.

  1. 01

    Discovery

About 1–2 weeks. We walk the workflow from lead to paid invoice with the owner and the office, and pull a sample of real data. The output is a short written scope: what we build first, what we won’t build, and how success is measured.

  2. 02

    First working version

Typically 3–6 weeks. The highest-value piece goes in front of real users early, with a live demo at each weekly check-in.

  3. 03

    Rollout

Data moved from the old tools, training for the office and crews, and a parallel run so nothing is dropped.

  4. 04

    Support and iteration

An ongoing block of time for fixes, new reports, and the next feature, so the software keeps pace with the business.

Principles

Built to be used, and to be owned.

  • Your data stays yours. Your business data is always yours, and terms are set out in writing.
  • Only what you’ll use. No features built for the sake of a demo.
  • Standard technology. Built on modern, widely used tools, so you are not locked in.
  • Tied to the numbers. Each build carries a margin, time, or cash goal.

Questions

Frequently asked.

Why custom software instead of an off-the-shelf tool?

Often you shouldn’t build, and we’ll say so when an existing tool fits. Custom makes sense when your process is an advantage, when you pay for a large suite you barely use, or when your tools don’t talk to each other.

How soon will we see something working?

Most engagements put a first working version in users’ hands within a few weeks of discovery. We build in small pieces, so progress is visible every week.

Do we own the software and the data?

Your business data is always yours. Ownership, hosting, and handoff terms are set out in the written scope before any build starts.

What do you need from us?

An owner or manager who can make decisions, about an hour a week for check-ins, access to your current tools and a sample of real data, and a few people willing to try early versions.

We run a pest-control company. Where should we start?

Start with Novare Pest. If you need something beyond it, we can scope that separately. You don’t need Novare Pest to work with us: for pricing, route, retention or systems decisions, see pest control consulting.

What does it cost?

It depends on scope. We agree on scope and cost in writing after discovery, before any build begins.

What would you build if it fit your business?

Tell us how the work flows today. We’ll tell you what we’d build first, or whether you need to build at all.
